Hi Everyone - we are getting ready to head to the Arenal Volcano and some much needed "R&R".
We've enjoyed seeing comments from people the kids really love to see their friends are keeping track!

I cannot tell you how endearing your messages have been to us! Lizzy and I were teary when hearing about the 11-year-old boy who curled up in Stine's lap and will once again be abandoned upon your departure. I knew this would be life-altering for you all. What an incredible family you are to give of yourselves in a far away place! Well, how did you guys enjoy Costa Rica's most active volcano?? You know, I've heard the eruptions are frequent but moderate and can be viewed without danger as long as you are behind the safety perimeter. Did you stay within the safety perimeter? : ) I hope you were able to enjoy Arenal's constant activity at night because (as we all know!) the lava and incandescent rocks make a spectacular sight. : ) Can't wait to see your pictures!!! Hi Chris and family, Just got a chance to read about your week. WOW what an experience for all of you. I can only imagine how hard and eye opening it is to get to know these children and see the challenges they and their care givers face.
