While giving back to the local community was great - I have to admit that one thing I really looked forward to was getting in the water with a surfboard and the boys...
Doesn't get any better - Pura vida...

I really love watching Jakob and Luke chasing the iguana - Luke actually got this one by the tail at one point but the iguana let him know he would have none of his business ;-)
Some exciting animal footage that I am just getting around to posting...
The birthday boy started his morning with some presents from Costa Rica from us and Mormor og Morfar:
Both boys are also sporting the CR colores de futbol:
Next we saddled up for some horseback riding - a 2 hour tour that we all enjoyed:
We will finish off the day with dinner at a restaurant made from the fuselage of a bomber of some sort.
Hasta Pronto!
The locals call this thing a "chicken iguana" since it looks like it has feathers and it runs on its back legs...really strange to see this running by!
We saw this and the pictures below at the beach next to our hotel - Manuel Antonio National Park.
Probably one of the most beautiful places in the world...lots of monkeys, iguanas, sloths and a few things we don't want to know about!
There is a small "friendly" snake in here somewhere:
Luke has become quite the iguana hunter...hard to see it but it's a couple of feet in front of him. A couple of minutes later Luke was pulling it out of the bushes - but he let it go after quite a loud "hiss" made him think twice about keeping his latest conquest!
Hey this is Jakob, and me and Luke did some lizard hunting but we didn't catch a lizard - instead we caught an iguana!
When we came to the hotel we saw these iguanas. First we went to a spot where there was an iguana that was "reachable" (because most are on the roof).
Fearless Luke approached it and grabbed it by the tail. Then he pulled it out of its hole. I looked at Luke like he was a maniac because that thing reminded me of a very ugly dinosaur...
We also saw some alligators on our way to the coast where our hotel is.
